Action and reaction and dissatisfaction

Painting for me is a process of action and reaction.

Needs orange.

Needs white.

Needs more layers.

Needs a massive simplifying step.

Obscure the shapes.

Clarify the shapes.

The depth is working, now emphasize the flatness.

Dissatisfaction, above all, is the mechanism that drives the work forward.

Once the idea surfaces and is clear to me, the picture lets me go on to the next one.
