These multimedia wall sculptures were made for a show about communication which I curated at Gage Academy, Seattle's Steele Gallery, August 2 - September 6, 2013.
In BLACKgreyWHITE, I challenged eight artists including myself to make works using only black or grey or white. The black and white works represented polarized viewpoints, with works in grey representing compromise, mutuality and commonality. Restricted in the use of contrast, the artists had to devise alternate ways of creating visually engaging works.
The Feedback Loops were my response to the challenge, relying on texture and surface relief for definition and interest, one of many possible formal solutions.
My materials included motherboards and defunct electronic parts combined with acrylic, fome-cor, carboard and paper.
